Road Closure Notice: Sugar Factory Road is open from the Highway # 47 at this time to thru traffic. To enter onto Sugar Factory Road drivers must use Center Avenue Street Exit and follow the detour signs.
Currently the City of Hardin is in the design Phase of Phase II of The Hardin Industrial Park which will extend water & sanitary sewer services to the Purple Cow Restaurant & the Red Eagle Casino & connect the utilities that are currently under construction in the Sugar Factory Road Project to the cities existing system located south of Interstate 90.
The City of Hardin is also working on several other projects that includes SID # 120 that will provide Curbs, Gutters, Storm Sewer, and street paving in the area West of Hardin known as the Westlich Heimat Addition and the Dorn Subdivision.
East Thirteenth Street, East of Center Avenue should be in construction in early April for the installation of Curbs, Gutters, & Paving from Center Avenue to the Two Rivers Detention Facility Scheduled for completion a the end of June.
Beginning of mid to late April the City Public Works Department will start the construction of the 2007 Street Improvements Project which consists of the rebuilding of the road section on N. Cheyenne Avenue from East 4th Street to East 8th Street.
