NOTICE TO PUBLIC REGARDING BUSINESS LICENSES
Business Licenses are due no later than Jan. 31, 2007. After January 31, the fees do increase.
Required of all persons and/or entities doing business or engaged in commerce in the City, whether residents or nonresident, unless specifically exempted. Charitable or fraternal organizations sponsoring or conducting a business enterprise may apply to the City Council for an exemption to the license requirement. Fees range from $25.00 - $500.00 (FEES INCREASE AFTER JANUARY 31)
Applications may be picked up at the City of Hardin Administrative Offices. If you have questions, contact the Assistant City Clerk at 665-9292.
NOTICE TO PUBLIC REGARDING DOG & CAT LICENSING/KENNEL LICENSING
All licenses are due no later than January 31, 2007. After January 31, the fees do increase.
All dogs and cats that are neutered/spayed: $10.00
All dogs and cats that are un-neutered/un-spayed: $25.00
Four or more dogs/cats require a kennel license fee of $75.00 plus dog/cat licenses.
Rabies vaccination certification required to obtain license.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Sugar Factory Road is currently under construction. Road is closed on the west side at this time to thru traffic. There are no turnarounds for trucks. To enter onto Sugar Factory Road drivers must use 3rd Street Exit and follow the detour signs.
LANDFILL NOTICE: At this time the Landfill's Scale is under construction. The scale is being lengthened to 100 feet and the scale house updated. The scale is out of commission for the next 5-6 weeks. Charges will be based on cubic yards of compacted or non-compacted garbage.

JOBS NOTICE: City of Hardin is accepting applications for Seasonal Workers. Applications can be picked up at the City Administrative Offices and are due no later than April 27, 2007 by 5:00 pm.
NOTICE TO DESTROY: BY ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL - All owners of real property or agents having control thereof, are responsible for destroying all weeds in prohibited areas by extermination, removal or cutting no later than April 30th of each year and to keep the areas free of weeds through November 30th of that year.
Failure to remove the offending weeds may cause the City to remove the weeds and charge the cost thereof against the real property, together with administrative costs equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the removal costs and a penalty of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each time the City provides the removal. Failure to pay this charge within sixty (60) days of billing shall constitute a lien on the property and will be placed on the tax rolls as a special assessment.
