Ron Adams is the current Mayor of the City of Hardin, MT.
Born: January 28, 1938 in Aurora, Illinois.
Family moved to Billings in 1949 to care for Great Grandmother.
Graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1956.
Went to Eastern Montana College of Education; graduating in 1960 with a B.A. Degree in Education.
Moved to Hardin in 1970 to manage the Elks Club.
Bought the Wagon Wheel Bar in 1981 and operated it until 1988.
Went to work for School District 17H & 1 in 1989; eventually becoming the Athletic Director in 1990 and retiring from that position in 2003.
Honors: State Award of Merit, Class "A" Athletic Director of the Year, All Class Athletic Director of the Year, and upon retirement was given a Golden Pass to all MHSA Events.
Government: Began serving on City Council in 1990. Appointed Mayor of the City of Hardin in 1994 and has won four consecutive mayoral races since then. Ron has two and one half years left in this term.
